St. Paul's is a Charter member congregation of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC).  LCMC was formed in 2001 as an "association" of pastors and congregations who desired a return to a more "confessional" understanding of Lutheran belief, teaching and polity.  For more information regarding LCMC, please visit www.lcmc.net
The people of St. Paul's believe we are free in Christ and accountable to one another.  The proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is central to our mission to make disciples.  However, we do this in a relaxed manner, with humor, a genuine appreciation for one another and faith in God.  Hospitality is a hallmark of St. Paul's.  Our motto is:  "Be Yourself.  Accept Others.  Be Faithful."

We have a Church Council that assists the Pastor and attends to the basic matters of the Church.  However, all decisions on important issues always come before the entire membership for action.  Many people who visit St. Paul's end up staying as members.  You, too, will find a very "homey" atmosphere in which to hear the Gospel of Christ and have your lives spiritually enriched.  And, of course, refreshments are served every Sunday and the coffee pot is always on.  Some traditions are forever.  Welcome to our church home!

Worship Books Used
During our Church services, we use a variety of worship liturgies including the Lutheran Book of Worship (LBW), With One Voice (WOV), The Hymnal for Worship & Celebration, and sometimes we write our own order of service.  Our Worship Committee plans the liturgies and hymns three months in advance.

Communion
Communion is offered on the first and third Sundays of the month; however, we also celebrate the Lord's Supper on special occasions.  In our bulletins we announce:  "Everyone, young or old, is invited to receive Communion."  The decision with respect to young children is a parental decision in consultation with the Pastor.  We believe it's the "Lord's" Supper, it's His means of grace, not ours.
