Membership
It is very easy to become a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. When asked, "How do I become a member of St. Paul's?" Pastor "Spike" has a straightforward, standard answer: "Just show up." Active "members" of the church are just that -- they come, they worship, and they support their Church.
Currently we have approximately 40 family units or individuals who are on our rolls. Average attendance is between 35-40 and rising. Our total annual budget runs about $50,000. The Church has had zero debt for decades, and we intend to keep it that way. The Pastor and Custodian are the only paid employees. Members are encouraged to tithe extra when we get our heating bills. On rare occasions, members are asked to fund a particular project and we respond.
